Snow Cones

After dinner tonight we journeyed across town to a famed snow cone spot called Bahama Bucks. I have no idea how many dozens of flavors are available there, but it is some kind of place! Hayden tried birthday cake, and Max tried Cinnamon Toast Crunch, which turned out to be a disaster. I'm not sure where he got the notion that a breakfast cereal would translate well into a snow cone flavor, but he is a big fan of cinnamon, so he gave it a try. Emma went with Tutti Fruity, and although she didn't seem to relish the snow cone itself, she adored the little paper umbrella that came in it and delighted in repeating "Fruity Toot Tee". The rest of us tried Strawberries and Creme. The extensive menu included such flavors as pickle juice, popcorn, and blueberry cheesecake. Crazy! You could also purchase 24 snowballs for a total of $6 and go out in the parking lot for a snowball fight. How fun is that? Although, in today's 106 degree temperatures, that would have been a short lived investment.

We came home happily twirling paper umbrellas and covered in Fruity Toot Tee stickies, so it was straight to the tub. We have new tub couture. We like to wear our fashion "gobbles" in the bath. :)

Thanks for stopping by my blog and welcoming me to the area. It's definately hot here but we're from Fla. so the humidity here is not bad at all. I'll have to check out Bahama Bucks. We tried Bedford Snoballs the other day. Have you been there? Love the "gobbles"

Snowcones...Oh the simple pleasures of life. So glad you are back in the saddle. And Emma's bangs suit her to a T. A tooty-fru- T!
