My great grandmother collected lambs. She was a school teacher, and over the years she established quite a collection of little figures, many of which were gifts from her students.
I don't know what ever happened to many of those lambs. My Grandma used to have a glass cabinet full of them in her basement, and I used to love to sit and stare at them. I am honored to have a few of her sweet lambs today, and they are a few of my favorite things. I love getting them out at Easter, using them for centerpieces in springtime, and displaying them with antique dishes and glassware. There is something gentle and sweet about little lambs, don't you think? Thanks for visiting my show and tell. It's just as fun as I remembered it. :)

Awww they are just precious!
Every one of your lambs are so sweet. I just love how you placed the two in the little bowl:)
Thanks for sharing your memories of your grandmother and her collection.

lol, yes you are right about sometimes coveting what everyone else was showing and telling about! That would definitely be the case with your adorable lamb collection...what beauties you have acquired, and to have special pieces from your Grandmother is wonderful. :-)
Love your little lambs! They are so serene and peaceful looking. That they belonged to your Grandmother makes them even more special! Thanks for sharing!
These are so so cute! Actually they bring back some sweet memories from my childhood. Thanks so much for sharing.
That is so sweet, she was a teacher that collected little lambs--I love that!
These lambs are the most precious! They may just have to stay out all year! I adore them!
