Emma, A Photo Journal

I have a wonderful tradition with my sweet friend, Marci. She comes over with her two girls and we plop into my couch with iced tea while the kids play. I really look forward to our visits because they make me feel refreshed. Also, because we traditionally share some M&M's, and that is always something to look forward to.

Marci came yesterday, and her daughters brought their digital cameras with them. They helped Hannah pack up a laundry basket with clothes and toys, then the three girls grabbed Emma and headed outside for a photo shoot. Marci and I sat on the couch and talked about driver's ed, the Olympics, and how delicious dark chocolate M&M's taste when they are frozen. We had samples to prove it. Before long, the girls returned, with nearly 500 photos of Emma.

I'm not sure how to give credit for these amazing shots. Perhaps it was the talented and creative photographers. Or maybe it was the adorable and cooperative subject matter. I think both conspired together to make some meaningful masterpieces. Don't you?

OH MY GOODNESS!!! These are SOOOO precious! Well, how could they not be considering the subject matter - but let me just say again OH MY GOODNESS! You will treasure these forever. I think the one where she is wearing her hat and looking down is my favorite! And the one with her holding her doll - that expression is priceless! She looks so old and wise!
Tell Hannah I think she will miss out on a fortune if she doesn't market her services. :>
