PBJ Day

"PB&J Day" is a summertime tradition at Nana and Papa's house. About every other week we head to the farm to enjoy a simple lunch and spend time with cousins. Nana usually has at least one trick up her sleeve. This week it was a custom made word find puzzle with all the kids' names and hobbies on it. The wide open spaces afford lots of opportunity for enthusiastic little boys to spend energy. Happy, exhausted boys make for relaxed, contented Moms.

And speaking of happy, look what Peeps has to be smiling about these days. We have hit hand-me-down heaven as my friend Casey continues to share the trendy baby gear that her daughter has outgrown. Our latest score is a personal rain forest. Cast aside any notions you may have of demure and understated infant entertainment. Behold the dangling toucan, the spinning tree frog seat, and the howler monkey sound effects. We are very snazzy.
