Crispix Snackers
6 cups Crispix cereal
2/3 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup light caro syrup
1/2 cup peanut butter
salted mixed nuts
Combine brown sugar and syrup. Heat in microwave, stirring often, until brown sugar is completely dissolved and mixture is smooth. Immediately add peanut butter and stir until creamy. Add cereal and nuts and stir well to coat. Turn mixture out on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper and refrigerate for a few hours.
(The recipe doesn't call for refrigeration, but I think it's too limp and sticky at room temperature, so I prefer mine cold.)
