I took Max to the costume shop today in preparation for the Worldview ball this weekend. The theme this year is early 1900's, and Max is going as famed cowboy Tom Mix.
I can't believe it's been three years since I was at this same shop with Hannah and Alicia. You can read about that visit here and here.
We had fun auditioning cowboy attire. You think this is too "Old Fashioned Cowboy Meets the Faun from Narnia??" Ha! Max said it was a Mix-ture. He's got his dad's quick wit.
The costume shop is a treasure trove of imagination.
This reminded me of my girl on prom night.
The racks upon racks of elaborate get-ups are truly amazing.
I liked this little number myself. Don't you love how The King is watching over her??
We had more fun than a ten gallon hat could hold, and now my boy will be ready to saddle up and Tango by Friday.
