The three day Harry Potter marathon officially drew to a close last night. Whew. That was a lot of Harry Potter. I suppose the inherent nature of marathons is that they are, by definition, rather long. :-) The kids watched episodes one and two on Friday; three, four, and five on Saturday; and six, seven, and eight last night. I couldn't have asked for a better bunch to be potatoes on my couch.
Hayden got his craft on.
He crafted wands, complete with red glitter tips.
So today Emma has been putting spells on the dog. Oops.
There was plenty of grub...
....guzzling...
....and great smiles.
This was technology central. Old Buzzard was still trying to finish up book seven, so he was feverishly reading during movies six and seven so he could be done by the time eight started rolling. He also had work to do from the office. So...work computer on lap, book seven in hand, and Joel behind him getting football score updates on his ipad. Who says men can't multi-task??
I, of course, assumed my usual role. The kids were delighted. Really. They were.
No eating until you pose for one more picture!
At the end I asked them to vote on which movie was their favorite.
And then I hurried off to bed to sleep off the marathon. :-)

You certainly are the hostess with the mostest! Thanks for doing this. The kids had fun ( and I did too).
