I Lost My Head

I need a new category in my Thrifty Three budget. I think I'll call it the "lost my head" category. I picked up a little something new, in celebration of three weeks of thriftiness. It was just a little too irresistible.
I can change out the little ribbon with each season and use colored chalk to make all kinds of important notations.

It helps to write things down as you get older, you know. And there's no paper to recycle or replace, so in the long run it's probably both cheaper and more economically sound than post-its. And certainly cuter, with the jaunty ribbon and all.

Isn't this a clever way to memorize Scripture? Or announce tonight's menu? Or leave someone a love note? Or give myself a necessary reminder?

Well....I didn't need it. But I wanted it. And about two minutes later I owned it. What can I say? I lost my head. It happens. And sometimes, when it does, the kitchen counter gets cuter.

I loved your Blessings banner too. Very cute. Now I just need to find some time to make one of those too!
