I absolutely love to decorate for Christmas. BooMama is hosting a Christmas tour of homes in mid-December, and I look forward to participating and sharing photos of our very merry mess. In the meantime, I thought I'd give you a peek at my favorite Christmas decorations of all.

My husband gave me a starter set of a Dickens Christmas village for our very first wedding anniversary. We've added a tiny bit each year, mostly as gifts from our parents. Over time, the village has grown into a tiny, bustling town.

It is so much fun to set it up each year and watch it come to life. There are carolers caroling...

...and shoppers shopping.

Our growing town is lively and full. The little lighted buildings sit on a blanket of snow and cover the top of our entertainment center. The Dickens Village is a special part of making our home feel like Christmas.
