So true! Here are just a few of the many things that gave me joy this past week...
A play date at a special park with Dad...
A Birthday Girl...
A new batch of Encyclopedia Brown books from the library...
Lobster Bisque...
Paying at the pump, and driving away with a shred of dignity...
A sassy new sweater...
....and a friend to admire it...

Thanks for the reminder that we should stop and count our blessings. We all have so much to be thankful for even in times when there is need.

I just popped in via Chickadee, and enjoyed seeing your pics. Thankfulness is something we don't always have going on naturally, sadly(!!), so I think it's wonderful that you make a week of it... I'll be homeschooling from next year, and so am gathering together ideas - this is one that I will be making a habit of over the year, I think... Blessings. Naomi
