It happened in Hot Springs....Emma learned to crawl, and to sit up on her own, and to pull to standing, and to say "da da da da da". All in one week! Now we are home, and the race is on to baby proof. Because she is on the move, and showing no signs of slowing down.
And today? Today we are unpacking.
Last year I unpacked Max's trunk and found four zip lock baggies of clean clothes. I had sent one bag for each day of camp, but wearing clean clothes was apparently not a high priority most days. This year all zip lock baggies were opened. That means both boys either wore clean clothes everyday, OR, they were smart enough to deposit all the clean clothes in the laundry sack to make me happy and avoid the painful clean clothes lecture before next summer's departure. I did, however, unpack two brand new bars of soap and two unopened bottles of shampoo. I asked if they showered at all? Oh yes, they showered every night they said, but they were "fun showers", because no one made them use soap. Oh well. The toothbrushes were wet. At least I think they were. They do brush teeth at camp, right? With toothpaste? Every night? I'm certain they do. And I have one whole year to compose the soap sermon.
