Productivity Is On A Decline

I thought about packing today. Really, I did. But there were distractions in my day. They were so powerful, they simply overtook me.

First, there were handsome haircuts, and bangs that needed styling...

Then, we stepped into the sunshine, and freckles danced across this sweet face, practically begging to be admired. I fall for the freckles every single time. They are impossible to resist...

Best of all, there were friends to chicken fight with...

Melinda and her boys were here today. She is going to Atlanta too because her daughter is on the same team as Hannah. Melinda isn't ready for the trip either. Of if she is, she didn't want to brag and hurt my feelings. We were all about sitting in the shade and eating fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and relishing in the delights of procrastination.

How could I possibly be bothered with a little thing like packing on a day like today? I really couldn't be. It just wouldn't be fair. What with the cookies and freckles and swimming and all. And who can possibly be expected to stop staring at this??...

Packing? Fuhgedaboudit. Not today.

Here I sit. A lonesome Dove. Me and my suntan and a few empty suitcases. Tomorrow. I have a very hopeful feeling about tomorrow...

The haircuts are AWESOME! They look so tough!
