Swingin'

At our house, some kids like to climb trees, and others like to swing from them! Papa John and Aunt Sarah are best friends with Nana and Papa. They are honorary family members, and they are really good to my kids. They have a grandchild who is three, and they have lent Emma some treasures that he has outgrown, like this fun swing that now hangs in our front yard. As with all of her "first time" events, Emma commanded quite a crowd for today's summer sway. We all crowded on the driveway to watch her giggle as she took the new swing for a spin!

It was a good day, and a nice, slow ending to a busy week. I knew it was going to be a good day when I found this on my couch this morning...

I got out of the shower first thing and went to peek in the crib. I found no baby there. Big brother had snatched her for a little snuggle session before the day got rolling. Things like that just do my heart good.
