A Proper Introduction

I have long dreamed of having a blog of my own. I spend many hours on my computer enjoying the blogs of others. Now the time has come for me to try my hand. Computers frighten me a bit, but "Dell" and I have made some peace, settled some scores, and decided to join forces. Thus, a new blog is born. I live on Magnolia Manor. Okay, it isn't a "manor" so much as a house in suburbia with some lovely magnolia trees on the property. You see, I am a city mouse who dreams of becoming a country mouse someday. Until that day comes, I will do my best in the burbs to create a little piece of peace, southern style. I chose the name "Dove" in honor of the precious Morning Doves who once chose to establish a nest in our Magnolia tree. They brought us lots of enjoyment and opportunities for learning. I hope this blog does that too. I hope this becomes a friendly, familiar place where friends and family can catch a glimpse of memory making at the Manor.
